The Hope
Shalom Mishpocha, We at Rebirth are praying for every one in the path of the storm, and we hope you are preparing to be safe from Hurricane Milton. More importantly, I hope this time keeping safe will be a time to draw near to the Lord. Before I continue concerning the storm, we are so blessed to be able to have a “Support Israel” day with Honor Church where we will hear from Oct. 7 survivor Rom El-Hai this Sunday, October 13 at 7pm! We will be taking a love offering for Rom as he travels to share the reality of the events on Oct. 7 (and especially because he has to be still during the great Florida storm). We want to present to the Lord a beautiful night of worship, prayer, and the solidarity in our union with Messiah Yeshua - where Jew and Gentile are truly one! Invite everyone you know, and make sure everyone is registered, because it will be a full house! Stand Up For Israel: https://www.congregationrebirth.org/events/stand-up-for-israel/2024-10-13 Back to the coming storm. While we know that God has His hand over us, we also know to be wise and confident in Yeshua to order our steps in keeping a place for our families to be safe. With this, please make sure to keep up to date with government orders for safety. The link provided is to a page that goes over planning for the storm before, during, and after: Hurricane Milton info and prep.: Following the storm, we still plan to gather together Saturday @ 11am - 11pm for our Yom Kippur service. We cannot wait to see you then, but in the meantime, stay safe! “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and shalom in trusting, so you may overflow with hope in the power of the Ruach ha-Kodesh.” - Romans 15:13 TLV
